Kari has experience with non-profit boards and expertise in board governance. Having completed multiple trainings on board governance and best practices, she understands the role boards play in the success of their organization. Kari is an experienced grant writer and has diverse experience in the area of community education and corporate fundraising. She has worked for nearly a decade in non-profit leadership, lobbying, and event management.
Prior to making a career change to organizational management her background was in environmental chemistry and quality assurance laboratory management experience. She holds a BS in Biology from George Fox University. Her personal interest in nutrition and health along with her interest in science and human physiology make working with ONS an exciting opportunity.
A Wyoming native, Kari and her husband have lived in Cheyenne since 1999. She has two teenage boys active in school and sports. Kari has a passion for the community and is involved in the youth baseball community where she serves on a local board for the Cheyenne Competitive Baseball Association.
